Exponential Growth

One cent doubled daily for 30 days ?

This is a Exponential story in math, it means that if you start with one Cent on the first day, your money will increase like this:

1+2+4+8+16+32+64+128+512+1024 ...

I was thinking about a formula for calculating the amount of money in the specific day and I found it!

((2^n-1)*2)-1

or

( 2^(n-1) x 2 ) -1

n= the specific day of month.

Example:

n= 30

( 2^(30-1) x 2 ) -1 = 1073741823 Cent or 10737418.23 Dollar
